Ohhhhh ahhhh ooooh ahhh (tennis match)

I never really played tennis, only ping pong in my friend’s basement when we were 11. I sucked at it. She continued to go to tennis lessons in some sports center and I always secretly envied her. I wanted to have some tennis abilities and I wanted to be able to wear those short white skirts (and have the legs for it).

I forgot about tennis and ping pong until it made a “come back” a couple years ago when my country’s players finally started to win some matches and brought it back to headlines. Actually, it’s a strange game. You start with 0, and then jump to 15, 30, 40, AD, then 40 again, then AD again, then 40 again and so on… was 1,2,3,4 points too infantile for them?! And it’s so long, you’ve got the games, and the sets, and match… so many little games in one tennis game. It can go as long as hour and half or 5 hours. And don’t they have to pee in the middle? And the crowd must be frustrated. I still don’t know all the rules, but figured most of them from watching several matches on tv. I think it started really at the china Olympics.

Anyway, lately I’ve been watching the Australian Open at my gym. Not the entire games of course, but some of it. I watched Nadal vs. Murray and hoped for Andy Murray to win. Rafael Nadal had too many wins and he looked smug anyway. Andy, however, was cute. We were 3 and later 4 people in the same ellipticals row, and from the 3 plasmas in front of us we all watched the one with eurosport channel on. It doesn’t happen a lot around here, so it made me a little proud. Ooooh we’re advancing to other sports rather than just soccer and basketball. Eventually Nadal ate it, and on my way home Murray won the match.

Yesterday I watched the Federer Vs. Tsonga game, and it was quite painful for the Frenchman. Roger was so funny in his winner’s interview, which totally worth him winning. I’m usually for the underdog but this time I really wanted Roger to win. Hey, the frenchman wasn’t even hot. Watching the so many commercials on eurosport I saw Roger in the rolex ad. It’s quite funny how all you need to advertise a watch is show a cute tennis player wearing a suit and waving a racket in the air. Yeah men, if you get a rolex you’ll be as handsome and fast and successful as Roger Federer.

This morning Serena won the finals (following the shouting from the crowd “you go girl” LOL), even though I wanted Justine to win (underdog). Serena had some bitchy moments, when I thought she’ll snap at the judge again (does it run in the family? Venus looked pissed when her sister won. Jealousss). She’s actually very nice in the interviews I’ve seen her doing but I guess the nerves at a tennis match change you. I don’t understand how can she play with those long earrings and necklace. That would bother me if something hit me on the chest all the time. Speaking of chest, hers was moving all the time! LOL. And the Belgian had a man chest so I kinda fell sorry for her, considering her opponent had hers almost popping out of her top. Tennis perceived as a boring, quiet and uptight sport (even when Serena won she was like shy or something to raise the cup she just won), however it’s actually sexy! Guys have girls in tops that can’t hold their boobs in, girls in short skirts that keep getting shot from behind or below to reveal panties, and of course the moaning of the girls adds to the experience I guess. Girls, on the other hand, have cute guys with fake boners in their pants*. Sexxxy!

Tomorrow – Roger Vs. Andy. I don’t really have a favorite, but it’ll be a good game to watch (as long as it won’t be a crazy 7 hours marathon).

*I tried to find a fake tennis boner picture (profile shot of tennis balls in the pants pocket) and nothing came up. Bummer.
